OCF has walk/run events in many states, and this map allows you to view their locations each year. Click on a state to enlarge it, roll over the dot to locate the basic information about the event, and then click on the dot to be taken to that event’s full description.

Participating and supporting an OCF event accomplishes many essential goals. These events, which take place in public venues, raise awareness of our disease that far too many Americans have never even heard of. Most events also incorporate a free oral cancer screening event open to the public. That also helps screen them that day for early signs and symptoms or actual disease and instills in them a need for their family members to receive an annual OC screening. Additionally, these events are a component of how OCF, through the many small walk fees, pays for the many missions of the foundation related to the cause. The money funds researchers working on various components of the problem to pay for advocacy work at places as diverse as the National Institutes of Health, the National Cancer Institute, The Centers for Disease Control, and even in the political components of our government. We hope you will consider participating in one of our events and furthering our progress against this disease that takes too many lives.

If you would like to consider volunteering at one of our events or starting an event to help OCF in its missions, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. We will help you get started in the process and assist you in becoming one of OCF’s volunteer organizers in your state. There is much work to do, and we are proud that hundreds of individuals across the US have chosen to be part of the OCF volunteer family. Our volunteers are indeed the heart and soul of OCF and are responsible for the many successes and accomplishments of OCF.
